摘要:正交频分复用技术(OFDM: Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing)是一种多载波数字调制(MCM)技术,最近随着多媒体业务的发展,各项相对成熟技术的应用,OFDM技术良好的性能使得它的实现和完善指日可待。但是,较高的峰值平均功率比(PAR: Peak-to-Average Ratio)成为它应用的瓶颈。与单载波系统相比,由于多载波调制系统的输出时多个子信道信号的叠加,因此如果多个信号的相位一致时,所得到的叠加信号的瞬时功率就会远远大于信号的平均功率,导致出现较大的峰值平均功率比(PAR)。而高峰平比信号要求发射机的放大器有很大的动态线性范围,但这又会通常导致设备价格的提高和不必要的浪费。针对上述问题,本设计题目主要研究了正交频分复用信号的峰平比抑制技术。同时,在参考学习了书籍资料后,又着重提出了几种与传统方法相比,具有更好性能的新型峰平比抑制技术方案。

Peak-to-Average Power Ratio Reduction Research and Simulation for OFDM
Abstract:OFDM is a digital modulation technique with multiple subcarriers.With the development of multimedia operation, its good performance has been applied in many fields. But it suffers from high peak-to-average power ratio. Comparing with the single carrier wave, because multiple subcarriers are added together to a signal to be transmitted, if the phasic of N subcarriers are the same, the power of the signal, which is formed by multiple subcarriers, would be much bigger than the average power of the OFDM signal, then high PAR comes out. High PAR signals would require a large range of dynamic linearity from the analog circuits,which usually results in expensive devices, and higher power consumption.To solve the above problems, in this paper, the author researched the techniques for peak-to-average power ratio reduction of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing signal, and proposed several new methods which can achieve better performance than corresponding traditional ones.
