目前,图像采集系统应用广泛。以CCD作为图像传感器,以SAA7111A作为视频A/D转换模块,以FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array,现场可编程门阵列)作为图像采集系统的控制核心,以DSP作为基本图像处理单元,以PCI接口技术实现数据传输,实现了图像自动采集处理系统,完成了图像的快速采集、存储、数据处理及传输。采用了PHILIPS公司推出的强大的视频解码A/D芯片SAA7111A将电视信号转换为数字信号,并由FPGA作为控制器将数字信号存入SRAM,缓存电路采用帧存乒乓刷新机制,即双端口存取,然后DSP读取SRAM中的图像数据进行算法处理,最后经PCI通信模块送入计算机进行实时显示或存储。主要介绍了整体方案的设计,各部分元件的选择、连接和图像采集整体控制与数据存储部分的Verilog-HDL模块的软件设计。该系统采用FPGA实现视频信号数据采集,可提高系统性能,可以根据不同的需要进行现场可编程,具有通用性与灵活性强,设计、调试方便、成本低等优点。

Title Image Acquisition System Based On FPGA
Abstract
Now, image acquisition system has extensive applications. Employing CCD as the image sensor, the SAA7111A as the video A/D modular, the FPGA(field programmable gate array) as the kernel of image acquisition system, DSP as the primary image processing unit, employing PCI interface technology to realize data transportation, realized image automatism collection processing system, finished image fast acquisition, storage, data processing and transportation. This system employs the video A/D chip SAA7111A manufactured by PHILIPS corporation to convert the video signal to the digital signal,and the digital signal is storied in SRAM controlling by FPGA, and the storing circuit employs frame storing through ping-pong refreshing mechanism, that is Dual ports access. Then the DSP chip read the image data from SRAM to proceeds image algorithm processing, at last, the processed data is transported to computer through PCI communication module for real-time display or storage. This paper emphasize of introducing the whole conceptual design realization, the selection and connection of each component, the integral control of image acquisition and verilog-HDL modular software design for data storage section. The system employ FPGA to realize data acquisition of video signal, it could improve system performance, field programmable according to different necessity, and processes versatility and flexibility strongly, convenience to design and debug, and low cost.
