采用以当前流行的ARM处理器作为控制系统的核心部件的GPRS系统的硬件设计方案,主要介绍基于ARM9的嵌入式GPRS系统的实现方法,并具体说明了该系统的硬件组成部分和软件组成部分。其中硬件部分主要包括核心处理芯片ARM9系列的AT91RM9200、GPRS模块MC35I、存储器、电源模块和通信接口等。软件部分主要包括系统初始化、数据处理程序和通信程序等。通用无线分组业务(GPRS)是一种基于全球移动通信系统(GSM)的无线分组交换技术,提供端到端的、广域的无线IP连接,具有永远在线等特点。设计了基于GPRS网络的数据终端单元(DTU),该单元是由以ARM芯片AT91RM9200和GPRS模块MC35I为核心的硬件和软件组成。在概括工业GPRS监控系统构成的基础上,介绍了GPRS DTU硬件设计,GPRS DTU软件是由μC/OS-Ⅱ操作系统、TCP/IP协议、点对点协议组成。该单元使用户通过GPRS网络实现用户设备和用户数据中心之间的数据传输。

Title The GPRS Packet Data Service Unit in ARM
Abstract
A hardware design plan for GPRS system, which uses the popular ARM processor as core parts. This paper introduces an implementation method of Embedded Automatic Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), dealing mainly with hardware components and software modules based on ARM9. Hardware system consists of ARM9 series AT91RM9200, GPRS module MC35I, memories, power supply, communication interface, etc. System initiation, Data Terminal and communication program are main modules making up of system software. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a wireless grouping exchanging technology based on the GSM (Global System for Mobile communication). It provides port-to-port and wide IP connection and has the feature of being on line forever. The DTU Data Terminal Unit) based on GPRS network is introduced. Its hardware and software are based on ARM chip AT91RM9200 and GPRS module MC35I. After the construction of industrial GPRS supervisory and control system is generalized, the hardware design of GPRS DTU is introduced. Its software consists of μC/OS-Ⅱ operating system, TCP/IP protocol and point-to-point protocol. The data can be transmitted between user equipments and user data centers via GPRS unit.
